Casarow Hilda Ogden arrived in Kansas from Manchester England. We met the plane in Tulsa, OK and when she stepped out of the travel kennel she stepped into our hearts.  I can not think of an adquate way to express the gratitude to Carl and Julie Sparrow of Manchester England for allowing this little lady to come to Kansas and be a part of our family. 

Torie has several "thrones" - the back of the sofa, the chair at work, or my pillow at night. She is a true lady - She does not hesitate to offer a sharp high pitched bark to get attention and then basks in the limelight. Torie "twirls in circles or bats at you to get even more attention.

Torie's color is Prince Charles or Tricolour. Her short muzzle and domed head framed by her beautiful ears give an almost infant-like look. She also has fused toe nails on each foot. The fusing of the toe nail is not bad. It appear to be inherited from their distant relative  -  Pyrame . It causes no discomfort or inconveniences to her as long as the nails are kept trimmed and shaped. There has been discussions as to whether a fused toe Charlie is indeed closer to the breed standard in physical appearance but as far as I know this has not been verified one way or the other.
